RELATED: Forspoken: How Long to Beat & Chapter List
Nail Designs are a little different than Cloaks and Necklaces, as players can choose to equip two different designs at any given time rather than having to settle for just one. As with the game’s other types of gear, the best nails in Forspoken can make a huge difference, particularly when playing the game on higher difficulty settings.

Which is the Best Nail Design in Forspoken?
As with some of the other gear types in the game, the best Nail Designs in Forspoken can vary depending on a few different things. For starters, story progression can be very important, as once players start gaining access to the Tantas’ spells and abilities, Nail Designs that only boost Frey’s magic become a lot less useful. Until then, though, On Point and III are incredibly useful and arguably the best Nail Designs for the first half of the game. For the second half, players will probably want to switch to something like Savage instead.

Players will also need to consider how well their choice of Nail Design meshes with their preferred Cloak and Necklace. Certain combinations work incredibly well together, particularly those geared toward critical hits. With this in mind, most will probably find Spectrum to be the best Nail Design in Forspoken, particularly when paired with the Unbroken Cloak (craftable after purchasing the Sewing Kit item from the Curiosity Shop in Inner Visoria for 64 Old Coins) and the Balle Balle Necklace (unlocked by completing The Place of Prayer in The Sacred Peaks area of Cipal).
Forspoken is available now on PS5 and PC.
